What inspires my photography is finding what is hidden or struggling in the noise of modern life, including landscapes, old buildings, covered bridges, wildlife and the Pennsylvania Amish.

The simple realization that time lost is lost forever, is one I find utterly frightening.

great photography is ultimately not about cameras; great photography is about great photographs.

A great photographer is a person who makes great photographs, not necessarily a person who owns a great camera.

My present photographic interests lie in capturing the Chesapeake Bay and rural Pennsylvania landscapes, covered bridges and the unique lifestyles of the Amish people that live there. Although the Amish are typically hesitant towards outsiders, especially those who possess a camera, I’ve been fortunate to establish personal friendships within this tight knit community.

I have had a passion for photography since I was a child. My uncle worked for Eastman Kodak and would visit every summer with his Rolleiflex medium format camera and I was hooked. After taking a photography class in high school I have since had a camera in my hand.
